seams...

I have had this random fascination lately with stitches and seams and studying just how things are put together and connect both organically and mechanically...so, as you can see, it's coming out in my work. These are two vases I'm working on right now. I think I want to do a series...who knows...we'll see where this strange and bizarre attraction to seams, joints and closures leads to.
