G-Magazine!!!
G Magazine is Greenville's newest magazine...and they chose to do their cover story of their premiere issue on us...the Arstist District of Greenville!!! The generous article covered my business, lily pottery and my studio and wrote generously about knack, art&light and many other talented artists in the "Village of Greenville"! I walked into Barnes & Noble last night, and there it was, my picture on the front of their magazine! talk about cRaZy...the whole experience was quite surreal, but I am so incredibly thankful to G-mag for this incredible article they wrote promoting me and my artwork as well as so many of my very talented artist friends. I feel truly blessed! Thank you to ALL of you out there who support what I do and are rooting for me, you have NO idea how much it means!!!

petite summer gardens
I am working on a set of 9 mini felt gardens. I have been so inpired by all of the fragrant blossems and trees blooming in my yard and splashing color in the yards and gardens around me. Here are my first 3 gardens that I completed today. The 9 petite flower patches will be framed in small white 5x8 shadow frames. I am very excited about this series of felt. I'll be sure to post a photo of the complete collection when I am done.

comforting coffee with a dear friend
I met with my dear friend April this morning for coffee at her place, and she revealed me the newest mug form she has been throwing for our upcoming show in Clemson next weekend...and I just adore them! As I had the pleasure of drinking from one of her newest mugs this morning, I sat entirely happy and content to hold that gestural little mug in my hands and sip my brew. When I sat the mug back on her kitchen table, I could just image the jolly little pot skipping about and dancing a little jig. ahhh...so thankful for the company of good friends and comforting coffee in soulful hand-thrown mugs on warm spring mornings.
