new little lily goodies

these fun new headbands are headed to Moppets (a children's boutique in Lewis Plaza off Augusta Rd)...i took a handful to them last week and they were gone in 2 days, with calls for more and visits from mommy's looking for more in my studio, i decided to crank some more out...these little beauties can be found in Moppets this afternoon or in my studio...please feel free to swing by either place, but if you want to stop my studio give me a ring to make sure i'm there ;) 864.607.4381

tonight is the official opening show of the brand new Gallery on Trade in Greer. this gallery is a made up of a co-op of 20 artists in the Carolina's that lily pottery has joined. if you can't make it out tonight be sure to check out the Gallery's website here...and you can visit and shop on regular retail hours Monday-Saturday.

yesterday's photo shoot went so fabulous! i am SO excited about it! we turned my house into a high fashion photography studio... Aaron Greene of Greene Photographs worked his insanely good magic and a HUGE thanks to him. also, i want to thank my lovely models emily and cassia for modeling, and i'd like to thank my good friend jen for helping out and shooting "behind the scenes" shots... here's just a few photos she snapped during the the fashion shoot...

time for a fashion shoot!!!

okay, let me just say, i'm jumpin' outta my skin! today is the fashion photo shoot for my 2010 lily pottery catalog! i'm so excited!!!! last year was the first catalog i'd ever done...i learned so much from doing the last one, and now i'm thrilled to be embarking on the next one! i'm expanding the shoot to 2 models this year, and i actually had a little bit of a budget for wardrobe this year! (last year i just raided my own closet and dressed my the model (my sister) in my favorite clothes ;) this year's catalog will be a bit more on the fashion side of things...can't wait!!! we'll also be shooting a "behind the scenes" video...so be on the lookout for that... my friend Aaron Greene will be shooting to photos and i will have my sister model again along with my friend Cassia...these two beauties will be sure to make for fabulous catalog! here's just a few photos from last year's shoot taken by Aaron Greene...

spread your crazy love

first of all, i love me some Black Eyed Peas, but this video is stellar! this took place down town Chicago and i love this!

sometimes i feel like the girl in the blue shirt who's alone in the beginning just dancing my heart out...completely misunderstood by the people all around me and who think i'm totally crazy, but i know if i just keep feeling my groove and living my life to it's fullest while loving everyone around me, others will catch the love and it will spread and before you know, all the people who thought you were crazy and weird, will be loving their life and spreading their own crazy love and not caring what anyone else thinks!!!
so don't worry about what everyone around you is thinking or saying, just spread your crazy love and eventually it will catch on, but at least in the mean time, while you're waiting for it to catch on, you know your living every moment to it fullest and loving every second of it!

where have i been?!?!?!?

well, it's a crazy little story, my life, but yes, i'm still alive and well! i have been crazy busy working on my biggest order yet for Acacia Catalog! yes, i am so excited to let you know, that in the holiday issue of Acacia, my red vintage garden necklace will be available to purchase! the holiday catalog will come out in November and run through January...i am so happy to be a part of this catalog!!! visit back for more updates on when the catalog will arrive in your home, and if you don't get Acacia, sign up on their website to start receiving their free catalogs in your home!

little lily has a new home...

my little lily hair accessories can now be found in "HOT-LANTA"! Salon Red Kids in Atlanta is now carrying little lily hairclips, hairties, and headbands. they also have a lovely assortment of my magnets for sale in their adorable salon as well...for all of you mommies living in Atlanta, this is a pretty fun place to take your kiddos for a haircut...fun for them and enjoyable for you!
