i've just added a happy little birdie to my collection. this new little dove has "tweet" stamped into her. she's the adorns any door knob, or drawer pull beautifully. she also makes a great hostess gift draped around the neck of a bottle of wine, or you can add her to the top of a special package.

itty bitty rings

here's the smallest band rings i've made. these are super dainty. the band is an 18 gauge sterling silver and adjustable...a bit too dainty for me, as most of you know, i have big hands and i'm a chunky jewelry kinda girl...the bigger the better...but i'm trying to add as much variety to my jewelry collection as i can...

i've take photos of all three sizes for you to see the size differences. if you'd like to let me know which ring you prefer, or give me your opinion, leave me a comment. i love getting feedback...

and p.s....i'm open this coming Saturday 11-4 so for you locals, you can swing by my studio and check out these new rings in person...or pick up a last minute easter goody or get ahead on some mother's day shopping...

new medium rings

now i have 3 ring styles to offer. the two newest additions are a bit more petite in the band. these are the middle sized rings. the band is a 5 gauge which is just in between my wide band rings and the tiny band rings i make. the each band is adjustable and sterling silver. the large rings are in my etsy shop and i'll be adding the medium later today and i'll post about the new dainty small rings tomorrow...

spring has sprung!

we had a gorgeous weekend and shy buds are beginning to peak out all over! i'm lovin' spring. i added some new spring things to my etsy shop this past week. little nest eggs...they finish off any easter basket perfectly or make a nice gesture to let someone special know they're loved and thought about and at only $7...this little handmade gift is perfect! check them out here...

a little window decor...

this weekend is first fridays and we're all busy little bees getting ready for it. there's something a little different going on this first fridays. Dunkin' Donuts is opening a flagship store on main st downtown greenville. as a marketing campaign, they've asked the Pendleton Street Arst Dist to create our own interpretation of "the donut". friday night you will be able to stroll Pendleton St and find large donuts in several studio windows. dunkin donuts will be providing coffee and donuts for us to celebrate as you stroll on first fridays. i worked FOREVER yesterday on mine. here's a few shots my donut and how it was made. it is may tiny clay donuts together to make one HUGE donut ;) i'll try to get a better pic from the window and post more after Friday night...:)

branch examination

i am super excited about a new series i'm working on. the completed collection will consist of 5 hand sculpted branches that will be secured to the wall. here is the first completed branch...

and here's a few pics of the other 4 "in the works"...i'll be sure to post pics of the completed set!

pod anthology

a part of my "natural selections series", this collection is tribute to my ever fascination with seed pods. each pod was pinched then glazed with a gloss clear glaze. i love how the clear glaze picks up the shadows of the pinched clay.

i have been working on nature inspired forms lately and i've been experimenting with new glaze techniques. these pinch pots are some of the first of the nature collection. i'm really excited about this crackled texture...
